Tile Art and Alcohol Inks

Katy Edwards is one of Australia’s most prominent Naive artists and has won international acclaim with exhibitions in London and Tokyo,  and a long history of art adventures including being the featured artist at Expo 88.  Her prints are throughout hospitals in SE Queensland and the Queensland State Library holds her collection for posterity.

Today Katy Edwards will be demonstrating her expertise in TILE ART and ALCOHOL INKS. This exciting genre needs no art training or creative ability at all.  Katy will show how to drop and manoeuvre colourful alcohol inks onto tiles and yupo paper. It is great fun and you are invited to join in, making coasters and platters. Bring an apron if possible.  Everything else will be supplied.  Come and have some creative fun!
